Meet Abdelfatah Mouttaqui

Abdelfatah carries a precious dual lineage in the art of sacred Islamic singing. His father, Shaykh Abdelkabir Mouttaqui (rahimahullah), served as the Muqadim in Casablanca of the great gnostic Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Habib — author of the blessed Diwan.

He later studied under Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi in South Africa, receiving ijazah (spiritual authorization) to transmit the art of singing sacred Islamic poetry — an unbroken chain of transmission stretching back through generations of spiritual masters.

When you learn with Abdelfatah, you are connecting to a living tradition — receiving the transmission of baraka and spiritual knowledge that has been carefully preserved and passed down through authorized teachers.
